Man Utd – Southampton football predictions for tomorrow

Manchester United faces Southampton at the Old Trafford in a fixture from the 25th round of the Premier League. Keep up with us and our football predictions for tomorrow.

Manchester United approach this game after another misstep in the league. The Red Devils lost two points in their visit to Burnley as the game at Turf Moor ended with a 1-1 draw. United are now back to 5th place as West Ham took their position in the Top 4.

United’s manager Ralph Rangnick took a brave decision at the Turf Moor as he left Cristiano Ronaldo out of the starting eleven. Paul Pogba opened the score for the visitors but Jay Rodriguez equalised in the beginning of the second half. Cristiano Ronaldo entered the pitch in the 68th minute, but he was unable to score a winner.

Manchester United’s captain Harry Maguire once again got criticized for his performances on the pitch. The English international made a serious mistake against Burnley which cost his team the win. More and more of the fans now doubt that Maguire should be part of the starting eleven.

Southampton also made a draw in their last game. The Saints faced the champion Manchester City at the St. Mary’s and fought bravely for a 1-1 draw against probably the strongest team in the country. Kyle Walker-Peters brought joy to the fans with an early opener but City found a way to equalise in the second half.

Last weekend the Saints progressed in the FA Cup which was another good news for the club. It wasn’t easy, though. Hassenhuttl’s team needed extra-time to eliminate Coventry City from the competition. Stuart Armstrong and Kyle Walker-Peters again scored for the hosts.

That’s the football predictions for tomorrow for the Premier League clash between Manchester United and Southampton at the Old Trafford. The Red Devils are in a “must-win” situation after their mistake against Burnley. Let’s see if they can do it, though.
